September is National Suicide Awareness month. Operation S.A.V.E. is a training module that familiarizes the audience with many aspects of suicide including terminology, statistics, myths, prevention tools and an overall awareness of suicide and everyone’s role in prevention. Presented by the Orlando VA Hospital, this program is free and open to the public.

Homeschoolers are invited to an ongoing, interactive class on learning the Dewey decimal system and nonfiction. Every other Monday at 1:00pm Miss Hannah will review a different section of the library's nonfiction collection.
