Families with children in grades K & up, come take a trip around the world with us! This program explores the diverse habitats of our planet and the animals that live within them.

Creature Teachers is a family owned live animal business specializing in environmental and animal education. Our goal is to fascinate our audiences with the wonders and diversity of the animals that share our planet. Whether it is a birthday party, scout troop or school, our approach is fun and casual, making every Creature Teachers visit memorable.

Our educators have years of experience with both animals and people. This enables us to "read" an audience and customize our live animal program to meet any special needs or requests. Our emphasis is on providing an enjoyable educational atmosphere for all.

What makes you, you? During this year’s GSK Science in the Summer program, children are invited to explore the biological systems that make humans fundamentally alike, and the elements that create a unique individual. Through engaging, hands-on exploration, students discover how food becomes our body’s fuel, where oxygen goes when we breathe it, how our brains interpret the world, and what role DNA plays in making us who we are.

Come join us for Parents’ Choice Award winning performers Davis Bates & Roger Tincknell in a participatory program of songs & stories for all ages!

This concert is an exciting family-oriented program that explores a variety of cultural traditions.  Hear how the stars came to be in the sky, how foam came to be in the ocean and be prepared to sing, move and dance.  There will be plenty of sing-alongs, a short lesson on how to play the musical spoons and an appearance by a dancing wooden dog named Bingo who, after dancing, will be sung to sleep by a starry lullaby.

Davis Bates and Roger Tincknell have over eight decades of combined experience performing for families, in community settings throughout the Northeast.  They are known for their humor, their strong vocal harmonies and for their warm and participatory performing style.

This performance is funded, in part, by a grant from the Lenox Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and by the generosity of Peter and Beth Levin.
