lib_book_red 6:30 PM Book Discussion     Tell a Friend
The Lincoln Public Library hosts a book discussion group that meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Program Room. All are welcome to attend. On June 27th, we will be discussing Sunflower by Richard Paul Evans.

Just a week before their marriage, Christine's fiance calls off the wedding, leaving her heartbroken. With hopes of helping her through a difficult time, Christine's best friend Jessica enrolls them both on a humanitarian mission in Peru, to work at an orphange called El Girasol - The Sunflower. It is there that Christine meets Paul Cook, a successful American doctor who has fled the States after one fatal day took away his career, his faith, and the woman he loved. Unplanned events lead Paul and Christine into the jungle of the Amazon, where Christine must confront her deepest fears, and she and Paul both must learn to trust and love again.

lib_book_red 6:30 PM Book Discussion     Tell a Friend
The Lincoln Public Library hosts a book discussion group that meets on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Program Room. All are welcome to attend. On November 21st, we will be discussing Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn.

Flynn's toxic mix of sharp-edged wit with deliciously chilling prose creates a nerve-fraying thriller that confounds readers at every turn. When his wife disappears on their anniversary, Nick starts having cringe-worthy daydreams and becomes oddly evasive, eschewing his golden boy past.
