Teen Program - Leadership and Community Action:  Girls Breaking Barriers

Wednesdays, April 15, 22, & 29, and May 6, 13, 20, & 27, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the Innovation Station

This exciting program, presented through Girls Inc., will teach girls in grades 9-12 to plan, shoot and edit a Public Service Announcement.  Participants will identify issues in today's society and your community, choose a topic of group concern to address, develop an effective message, learn the phases and techniques of video production and practice camera, lighting and audio skills.  Participants will also earn community service hours and at our last session, friends and family are invited to view the public service announcement.

Levittown UFSD girls in grades 9-12 may register beginning Wednesday, March 18, at 9:00 a.m. in the Teen Lounge.
