An Evening of Classical Music
|

|
On Tuesday, March 9, at 7 p.m., we will present an evening of classical music with violinist Katherine Hrach and Synthia Sture, piano accompanist. Katherine is a Mansfield High School sophomore who has studied violin since age 9. She has participated in numerous ensembles within the preparatory program at the New England Conservatory. Currently she is the assistant concert mistress of the String Chamber Orchestra and a participant in the Youth Symphony Orchestra. Katherine studies with Peter Zazofsky, of the BU School of Music, and with Mark Lakirovich, of the Longy School of Music. She will be performing the Mendelssohn Violin Concert in E Minor, and the Bach D minor partita and other pieces. The Friends of the Mansfield Public Library are sponsoring this special event.
