We are looking to start a monthly coloring club at the library. The library will provide soothing music, coloring books, markers, colored pencils, and crayons.

Join us for a free workshop on Digital Photography and Video with your DSLR Camera! In this workshop, you will learn • Intro to camera, controls and functions-manual & auto focus • Memory cards, ISO ratings and low-light camera sensitivity • Filters & Accessories • Basic composition • Use of electronic flash • Normal, wide angle and telephoto lenses • Basic portraiture and • Lighting Techniques.

This workshop is hosted by Bob Michaelson of Photography by Michelson, Inc. based in Braintree, MA. He is a published underwater photographer/videographer, who has been diving for 34 years. He is a PADI Dive Master, a Speciality Instructor in underwater photography, videography, naturalist, and PADI project AWARE Fish I.D.

This month’s movie is rated R and stars Tom Hanks. "Director Tom Tykwer adapts Dave Eggers' best-selling novel, in which an American businessman (Tom Hanks) travels to Saudi Arabia in an attempt to sell a holographic telecommunications system to the country's king. Desperate to make the deal in order to stay afloat in a failing economy, he learns to navigate this unfamiliar culture with the help of a taxi driver (Alexander Black) and a local doctor (Sarita Choudhury)." Join our newest book club at the library! This book club will focus on nonfiction works. For our first book, we will be discussing is Dead Wake: the Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson. "The #1 New York Times best-selling author of In the Garden of Beasts presents a 100th-anniversary chronicle of the sinking of the Lusitania that discusses the factors that led to the tragedy and the contributions of such figures as President Wilson, bookseller Charles Lauriat and architect Theodate Pope Riddle."

Get in the ghostly spirit and join us for Gothic Ghost Tales by Candlelight! Some of the most imaginative and original writers of ghost stories, in the 20th century, have been women. They helped create the modern ghost: a mixture of the old fashioned Victorian gothic and science fiction. Rita Parisi from Waterfall Productions will present three ghost stories that probe the possibilities of other dimensions in time and human consciousness.

There is a new growing trend of coloring for relaxation. Adults are rediscovering the stress-relieving benefits of coloring. 
We are looking to start a monthly coloring club at the library. The library will provide soothing music, coloring books, markers, colored pencils, and crayons.
        There are many spaces available.
