Join us for a new program for toddlers and preschoolers to explore all things science!

Each session we will examine a different aspect of science through books and hands-on experiments for your little scientist to investigate, play and have fun!

This week’s theme is: Eco Science!

Please dress in old clothes or wear a smock. Some experiments may get messy!

Registration is required starting at 7am on the day of the program.  Please register each child separately.

Nancy McCormack teaches this eight-week series of yoga classes. All levels of experience are welcome. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a towel or yoga mat. Class is limited to 15 participants. Class dates are: April 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, & 30, and June 13 & 20.

Registration for all classes in this series opens on Wednesday, April 19th.

Registration is required for each individual class.

On Saturday, June 10th, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System will be hosting the world’s only science fiction convention devoted to the work of legendary author R. A. Lafferty. The library will have panel discussions introducing readers to Lafferty’s work, a presentation by the artist Anthony Rhodes discussing his Lafferty-inspired art, and discussions of Lafferty’s influential novel, Fourth Mansion.

The convention will be held at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System, located at 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrenceville. Refreshments will be served. Online registeration through EventKeeper suggested. Registration will begin at 9:30 am on April 1, 2017.

Drop-in between 3pm and 4pm and create a seed sphere out of clay, dirt and wildflower seeds.  Bring them home, toss them in your garden and wait for the flowers to grow!

Coloring sheets and other garden activities will also be included.

No registration required.
