• Toddler storytime is a half hour program for children, ages 2 and 3, accompanied by an adult, on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., or Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

• Pre-school storytime is a half hour program for children, ages 4 and 5, on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. or Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.

    Valley is a local reading therapy dog who loves listening to stories. Valley will visit the Hopewell Branch Library Tuesday afternoons with his owner Carrie. Mozart’s music appears in more than 550 movies. Join us for this multimedia program, which will examine well-known movies in which Mozart’s music is featured. Clips from Master and Commander, Elvira Madigan, Shawshank Redemption, Out of Africa, Amadeus, The King’s Speech, and Adieu Mozart (a documentary about Mozart’s three trips to Prague) are followed by the real story behind the music.

This program is presented by Catherine Sprague, a pianist with musical training at Mount Holyoke College and Indiana University. Ms. Sprague has lectured on classical music throughout New Jersey and is a member of the Mozart Society of America.
