This course builds on Excel Intermediate and deals with some more useful techniques of working with data in Excel, including making data ranges into tables, useful tools in pivot tables, some key tools on the data tab such as goal seek and subtotal. Each month, children will get to explore their creativity with a hands-on, open-ended art project using a variety of paints, markers, crayons, glue, and more!

No two masterpieces will look the same and children may work at their own pace (projects make take 10 – 30 minutes depending on the child).

Let your child’s imagination soar (and most importantly, have fun!)

Please dress in old clothes or wear a smock.  Some projects may get messy!

Author/illustrator Rashad Malik Davis can most often be found sketching, writing, or engaging in excited dialogue about the magic and beauty—both seen and unseen—of our diverse world.  This is his first picture book. Rashad resides in New Jersey with a family and wide array of pencils, pens and unfishished how-to books.

Join us for a new program for toddlers and preschoolers to explore all things science!

Each session we will examine a different aspect of science through books and hands-on experiments for your little scientist to investigate, play and have fun!

This week’s theme is: Ocean Science.

Please dress in old clothes or wear a smock. Some experiments may get messy!

Registration is required starting at 7am on the day of the program.  Please register each child separately.

Join Eyes of the Wild and their amazing rescued animals for a discussion about a future that can and should include the beautiful creatures and habitats we share this world with.

The program will teach about issues mankind must overcome to provide that future, ways in which animals help build a better world and success stories of how we are working toward a future that can include every living thing.

Online registration with a valid MCLS library card is required, beginning at 7:00am on the day of the show.  Those who have not registered may be admitted as space permits.

Kids will learn the fundamentals of computer science and will be introduced to Java syntax. Through this course, the concepts of object-oriented programming as well as decision structures will be explored. Kids must bring their own laptop, and be ready for a challenge.
