    Contact: Catherine Aday   9048680001   catherineaday@gmail.com

Spread the Feast Community (SFC) is a Charlotte Mason (CM) inspired homeschool group that meets twice a month in the Metrowest Boston area; once for a “show and tell” gathering and again for a nature outing. The purpose of the group is to first provide opportunities for children and their mothers to share any handicrafts, nature journal entries, recitations and other delights often explored within a CM education. By sharing, it is then our desire to inspire and encourage one another as each child and mother discovers and explores “new” and delightful ways to create, draw, and recite. Our second purpose is to encourage mothers in the nourishment of their own souls and intellect. By nourishing ourselves with the same rich delights of the “feast” we are spreading out for our children, we are participating in what has been popularly referred to as Mother Culture. (For additional resources please visit our page on Mother Culture.)

SFC is opened to any homeschool family with at least one child of school age (5 years) who utilizes the CM Method. Because it is our desire to “spread the feast,” the group is also open to homeschooling families who are exploring CM Methods as long as they respect and adhere to the main principles and philosophies such an education while participating.  For more information please visit our website spreadingthefeast.org .
