There’s nothing more interactive than a show where the audience becomes the act, and that’s what’s in store for families who attend Sarah Salerno Thomas’ “The Singing, Ringing Tree.” Adapted from a fairy tale about the transforming power of love, all 12 characters—ranging from panthers to princes to pigs—are portrayed by audience members. The production features a collection of large papier-mache masks created by award-winning artist, Ruth Fledermaus. Ms. Salerno Thomas has performed widely throughout New England since founding Take A Bow Productions (formerly Imagine That! Productions in Boston in 1996. Recommended for ages 5-14.
