Steve Zimic has been a Mineola resident for over 30 years, and works part time at the Neptune Camera in Garden City. He has received numerous awards from camera clubs and from the Photographic Federation of Long Island (P.F.L.I.). In 2008, he was rated the number one photographer (Digital Class) on all of Long Island by P.F.L.I. Many of the images on display have been taken with a camera modified to see near infrared light, producing a sepia toned image. These images have not been significantly altered in Photoshop, or any other editing software, and are true to what the camera generates. Be sure to visit our display cabinet upstairs featuring Steve's smaller art pieces and antique cameras. If you would like to purchase any of the images on display, prices are available at the Circulation Desk.
