Little Leapers @ Your Library: Summer Reading Club for children ages birth through 2 years old. On Your Mark, Get Set...Read! Summer Reading Club for children 3 years old through entering 2nd grade. Bring your dogs to the library for this series of obedience classes.  Led by dog trainer Evelynn Linden, dogs and their owners will learn the basics of obedience: sit, come, stay, down, etc. with positive rewarding techniques.  The class will be held on the library lawn.   Must be available for all 5 classes and have proof of your pet’s vaccination.  This event will also be held on July 23, July 30, August 6, and August 13.

    Volunteer teens read a story to children (Little Chefs) and make an edible food craft with them each week. Volunteers MUST be able to commit to at least two sessions to receive community credit. They must be on time at 3PM to set up the materials for each craft and stay to clean up afterward. First-time CookBook Buddies must attend a mandatory training session held on Tuesday, June 28 at 4-5PM. Past participants in the Book Buddies program do not have to attend training, but may pick up craft directions at the Children's Desk. There may be food allergens in this program. Open to children entering grades 6-12. Sign up begins Monday, June 13.

Bring your dogs to the library for this series of obedience classes.  Led by dog trainer Evelynn Linden, dogs and their owners will learn the basics of obedience: sit, come, stay, down, etc. with positive rewarding techniques.
