You've probably folded paper before, right? Then you're well on your way to learning the art of origami. Once you get the hang of making cool things out of paper, we'll make some delicious candy sushi (it looks like ther real thing, but with none of the raw fish or seaweed)!

Reader's Eye: Modern Literary Cinema

The Reader’s Eye is a book/film discussion program focusing on acclaimed literary works that have been made into equally acclaimed films. Participants will read the novel then meet to view the related film and discuss both works: their differences, their similarities, and their general impact.
Participants must pre-register for this program with George Dillard at 634-6064, ext. 250.
Viewings/discussions will be held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Film Title: DOUBT (2008) directed by John Shanley, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep. A series study of conflict within the church, set in 1964. Nominated for 10 Oscars.
