Story hour registration is now taking place for 2009-2010. Programs for ages 6 years old and younger will be offered from 10a.m. to 11a.m. each Wednesday beginning September 23. Activities include listening to stories, participating in fingerplays and songs, and doing simple crafts and projects. Participants will also be asked to provide snack on a sign-up basis. Classes are free but space is limited and pre-registration is encouraged.

The annual holiday bake sale will begin at 9AM. Donations of baked goods will be accepted with appreciation on Tuesday November 24, as well as the day of the sale. Proceeds will benefit the library's new computers.

Children age 12 years and younger are invited to come to the library for a holiday party including refreshments, a simple craft, and a visit with Santa. Snow date will be December 13. Registration is encouraged for planning purposes.
Older children are invited to get involved in discussing the book "The House Without a Christmas Tree" by Gail Rock. Copies are available at the front desk.
