We are pleased to have on display the work of local artist, Jack Cotten. On display is Jack's work done in watercolors, pen and ink and sculpture. Limited editions of archival quality prints will be available. The proceeds from the sale of prints will be donated to the library. The public is invited to meet the artist on Monday, November 2nd from 6 - 8 PM.

Tonight we will discuss James McBride memoir "The Color of Water: A black man's tribute to his mother. The book tells the remarkable success story of Ruth McBride Jordan and the two good men she married and the twelve good children she raised. It is a testament to one's woman's true heart, solid values and indomitable will. Extra copies of this inspiring story are available.

Today we will host our third Cookie Buffet Fundraiser. If you are too busy this holiday season to bake those special holiday cookies the library has an answer for you. Stop by today and purchase homemade holiday cookies. We have a wide variety of holiday favorites. The cookies will be sold for $6.00 a pound. Please contact us if you are interested in donating holiday cookies.
