rec_paintpalette02 10:00 AM  -  1:00 PM The Edible Landscape Project: A Visiting Art Exhibit! Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend

The Edible Landscape Project is the result of a collaborative semester-long study visualizing edible landscapes for social impact. The projects showcase a partnership between FRESH New London, Spark Makerspace, and Connecticut College’s ART 310 Design: Public Practice Studio.

Students and community partners created interactive tools to help visualize the potential of the natural environment in New London, particularly with plants that produce food. All components were created by Connecticut College students and with FRESH staff & youth, and Spark members and neighborhood residents.

Thank you to Library Trustee and Conn College Professor of Art, Andrea Wollensak, for sharing this exhibit with our library community. It is free and open to the public.

Over the years, so many patients and their families have said they wish they’d called Center for Hospice Care sooner. Here’s why:

-You live longer.

-You regain control of your life.

-You don’t have to stay.

-CHC shares the care with family members.

CHC manages and coordinates care, which means that loved ones get to be family again. You don’t need to be in the last days or weeks of life to qualify for hospice and palliative care. CHC care is about living – living well in the time you have left.
