Share your writing with a supportive setting. class. Space is limited to 12 so register early to reserve  your place. Save the dates June 13, 20 and 27.  Register now so you won't be left out. TED is a nonpartisan nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, and today covers almost all topics - from science to business to global issues - in more than 110 languages.  TED talks are a way to explore interesting and innovative ideas by listening to passionate and committed proponents.  The library is offering a way for patrons to view, share and discuss the powerful concepts involved on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 1pm.

Post Processing: Part 2 of Fun with Photos

7pm-8pm.  June 12
 is a general-interest set of programs that will explore the ways photography has been changed by the  digital age.While some aspects of photography, such as composition and exposure will always stay the same, how we take, store, share, and “develop” are totally new.The set will begin with a quick introduction to the program, and the topic of composition will be discussed.  Every meeting will end in a question and answer period, where your particular camera and photo questions will be aired. The second program will deal with improving your pictures after you have taken them (June 12).  This is called “post-processing”.Class 3 will discuss how you store, share, and print your pictures (June 26).Finally, class 4 will demonstrate Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (July 10). Please register separately for each session.
