The Narragansett Historical Society is very pleased to announce the publication, History of Narragansett, RI, from 1800-1999 - A Chronology of Major Events. This publication aims to spur interest and further research into Narragansett’s rich history.

Professor Richard Vangermeersch will present “Learnings from a Chronology: Interesting Tid Bits from Narragansett’s History.” Conversation and exchange of ideas will be encouraged. The presentation will be facilitated by Sue Bush.

The presentation is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 pm at the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library.  This event is co-sponsored by the Maury Loontjens Memorial Library and The Narragansett Historical Society.  Attendance is free, but registration is requested.  Please register below.

Learn the about the ancient art of egg  decorating with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method with the talented Lisa Schipritt.  Pre-registration by Thursday, March 30th required. There is a 5 dollar materials suggested donation.
