Spinning with Wool, Knitting with Yarn - with Miss Shirley and Miss Amy

Miss Amy and Miss Shirley will bring in some of the tools and tricks to show you the beautiful and ancient art of spinning wool into yarn and then taking that yarn and making it into cloth. Both of these accomplished artists have been working with wool for many years and are happy to share with you the experience of taking wool from the sheep and bringing it all the way to a finished garment or blanket. They will also have on hand some beautiful finished pieces of their own work.

SOFA is a 501c3 non- profit, educational speaker's bureau, comprised of various professionals (financial, tax, real
estate, mortgage, wellness, and estate planning) to provide overall financial education to various individuals and
organizations.
Through workshops and seminars, SOFA introduces keys to a successful and wealthy future.
Workshops also help people to become aware of risk management, investment opportunities, and tax savings.

The Annual Friends of the Nevins Library Book Sale begins tonight with a Preview Sale. Pay $20 to get in to the Sale early and have the evening to browse before the doors open to the general public tomorrow morning. Thousands of books at bargain prices. Also, DVDs, CDs, puzzles and Halloween costumes will be on Sale. Prices range from $1 to $2 per item.
