Robotics prodigy Hiro lives in the city of San Fransokyo. Next to his older brother, Tadashi, Hiro's closest companion is Baymax, a robot whose sole purpose is to take care of people. When a devastating turn of events throws Hiro into the middle of a dangerous plot, he transforms Baymax and his other friends, Go Go Tamago, Wasabi, Honey Lemon and Fred into a band of high-tech heroes.

The "Jr. Friends" group is an after-school club at the Norton Library for students enrolled in grades 4-7. The Jr. Friends meet every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of month. Our programs vary week to week, and often include craft activites, community service work, indoor and outdoor games, or social time. 

Today's event: Redecorate the Children's Room

In this hour-and-a-half-long program we will work on redecorating the back wall and/or windows in the Children's room.

For parents and their children ages 2-3 years old. This session runs Fridays at 10:30.

Read and Rise is a free, six-session playgroup offered by Self Help Inc.'s Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Program and designed to help families to support their children’s early literacy development.  Children and parents will participate in stories, songs, activities, simple art projects and playgroup routines that focus on literacy. Each family will receive a children’s book to keep after each session that they attend.

Although we know things may come up, when you register, please try to committ to attending all six sessions: Jan 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb. 27, March 6

We'll be screening Disney's Frozen–Sing Along Edition and invite kids of all ages to join in on the musical fun.  Feel free to dress up as your favorite Frozen character for this event.

At the same time, Katniss also learns about a secret rebellion spreading throughout all of Panem -- a rebellion that will place her at the center of a plot to turn the tables on Snow.
