50 & Better - Word II

Students will use the concepts learned in the Introduction to Word class to create basic documents using the Microsoft Word program.
Prerequisites: Basic computer, mouse and typing skills and Introduction to Word class.
This class will go at a slower-than-usual pace.
Other requirements: Students are encouraged to bring a floppy drive or USB (thumb or flash) drive to practice using removable storage media.

Parents – Ask our children’s staff, about how you can get your young child ready to read. In just a few minutes, our staff will discuss the six early literacy skills your child needs to become a successful reader. We will demonstrate techniques that you can do at home with your child to strengthen and reinforce each skill. This is available Monday - Thursday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The library is a great place to perfect your parenting skills and to realize you are your child's first and best teacher
