Representatives from the AARP TAX-AIDE PROGRAM will assist in completing  your 2016 tax returns.  Due to increasing frequency of ID theft, the IRS is insisting we make positive identification of all tax payers through photo ID and Social Security cards.  SS cards and photo ID of all persons listed on the tax return will be required for tax preparation.  Social Security cards are also required for any claimed dependents (including children).  In many cases only one spouse comes in to complete the tax return.  The IRS mandates that both parties on the tax return must be present!                                                  BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! No walk ins.

Resident in person sign-up begins Tues., Jan. 10, 2017.        Nonresidents will be placed on a waiting list.

The Other Einstein by Marie Benedict

“A brilliant student and the only woman in her class at Zurich Polytechnic in the late 1800s, Mileva Maric´ fell in love with fellow classmate Albert Einstein and eventually bore him three children, one out of wedlock. She is now suspected of being the burning light behind the Theory of Relativity. Therein lies a tale—how Maric´'s work got disrupted by domesticity—which lawyer Benedict shapes into a novel that is starting to buzz.”  (Limit 12)
