misc_none 2015 SUMMER READING PROGRAMS PREVIEW - EVERY HERO HAS A STORY     Tell a Friend
   

MEGA READERS SUMMER READING CLUB (For children entering 2nd through 5th grades)  - - -  Club members read at home.  They come back to the Library once a week (during scheduled times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) with reading charts and report forms for reporting, stickers, and prizes.  The Club begins on Tuesday, June 30 and ends with the final session on Thursday, July 23.  Club members will be invited to a special performance in August.

SUPER SIDEKICKS READ-TO-ME CLUB (For infants up to children entering 1st grade)  -  -  -  All reading is done at home between adult and child together.  Parents and children come back once a week (during scheduled times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) with reading charts for stickers and prizes.  Read-To-Me begins Tuesday, June 30 and ends on Thursday, July 23.  Participants are invited to a special performance in August.

HERO TALES PICTURE BOOK STORY TIME (For Plainedge families)  -  -  -  Picture Book Story Time begins on Wednesday, July 1 and ends on Wednesday July 22.  There will be 2 times to choose from during the daytime. There will be a special performance in  August for all participants.

Kevin Stiegelmaier, author of Canoeing and Kayaking New York and Paddling Long Island, will discuss the “do’s and dont’s” associated with the sport.
