Engaging "learning through play" materials are used in a group setting including singing, fingerplay, dancing and more. **READING CLUB UPDATE INFORMATION;  Registration for the Summer Reading Club will still be online and required, but all registrants will be directed to register at Wandoo Reader(an online reading program registration tool) from our Library's website. Registrants will also be able to choose to participate online in the Reading Club using Wandoo Reader where children can log books read, build an avatar and choose reading challenges for weekly prizes. We are still providing reading charts and book review/picture forms each week for those who do not wish to participate online this year. Registration is still required through Wandoo Reader for all registrants whether you choose to participate online or participate in our original program. We are excited about the changes in our Summer Reading Club and we hope you will be too**

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, READ!  2016 SUMMER READING CLUB  AGE RANGE- BIRTH TO 5TH GRADE 

 Reading Club members, participating in the original Reading Club, read at home and/or get read to at home. Books read get listed on their charts at home. Book review/Picture forms are filled at home too. Online Reading Club members log books read online on their accounts at home.  Online Club members have online activities and challenges as well. Original Reading Club members come back to the Library once a week during scheduled times on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday with reading charts and book review/picture forms for reporting along with receiving stickers and prizes. Online Reading Club members also come back to the Library once a week during scheduled times on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday so Librarians can check their reading, book reviews/pictures and challenge progress on computer.  The Reading Club begins on Tuesday, June 28 and ends with a final session on Thursday, July 21. All Club members will be invited to a special performance in early August.
