Lorraine Bridy recently traveled to Kenya and will discuss her decision to volunteer and her experiences with the children. She will provide background information about the faith-based home and share videos of some of the children who currently reside there. A recorded interview with Kate Fletcher, founder of Hekima Place, will also be shown during the program.

What is a Laughter Club? Laughter Clubs promote laughter inside to support happiness outside. Participants get together to use laughter to improve health and outlook, as laughter can reduce stress, strengthen your immune system, and lower your blood pressure. Laughter Clubs utilize a systematic activity approach that is based on a foundation of practices, such as yoga, meditation, and modern medical science. Members of Laughter Clubs are engaged in active and interactive participation. Register for this program online, at the library's circulation desk, or call 724-941-9430. "Drop-Ins" are always welcome and they can bring a friend. This is an introductory session; recurring meeting dates will be determined at first meeting.
