This 30 minute story time will include nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs, finger plays and movements, followed by a period of play for babies and a chance for caregivers to chat!  Class meets every Thursday morning and is open to residents and non-residents.  Drop-ins are always welcome!

The Ringwood Public Library and former Cancer Resource Coordinator Janet Carlsen, RN invite you to attend the Cancer Survivor Support Group on Monday evenings from October 30th through December 18th, 2017.  

Talking with people you can relate to will help you manage the physical, emotional and practical challenges cancer brings.  Cancer survivors often have a great deal of knowledge to share about how to deal with experiences and challenges presented by cancer and its treatment.  The support group will discuss a range of topics from difficult challenges to inspirational stories.  Learn stress relief techniques and methods of relaxation.  Problems can feel more manageable when you talk about them with others who understand.

Long before Amelia Earhart’s famous exploits, female flyers thrilled people on the ground – executing audacious acrobatic aerial maneuvers, soloing across the English Channel, setting records, barnstorming and buzzing beneath New York’s bridges.  Undaunted by male skepticism, they were determined to prove that anything that men could do, they could do too!

Talking with people you can relate to will help you manage the physical, emotional and practical challenges cancer brings.  Cancer survivors often have a great deal of knowledge to share about how to deal with experiences and challenges presented by cancer and its treatment.  The support group will discuss a range of topics from difficult challenges to inspirational stories.  Learn stress relief techniques and methods of relaxation.  Problems can feel more manageable when you talk about them with others who understand.

This 30 minute story time will include nursery rhymes, simple stories, songs, finger plays and movements, followed by a period of play for babies and a chance for caregivers to chat!  Class meets every Thursday morning and is open to residents and non-residents.  Drop-ins are always welcome!
