a. PC Reservation Management Console
i. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Console\config and back up all files in the config folder
ii. C:\ProgramData\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Console\data and back up all database file. The database contains equipment records, areas etc.
iii. C:\ProgramData\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Console\languages and backup all files. This files contains some of the custom messages such as warning messages
iv. Backup your license file located at C:\Program Files (x86)\EnvisionWare
b. PC Reservation Management Service
i. C:\Program Files (x86)\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Service\config backup the pcrServer.ewp file. This file contains the settings for the management services. Including policy location. This file can be copied from location to location.
ii. If the library does not have an online policy, a copy of the policy in html version or pdf can be placed in this folder and should be backed up C:\Program Files (x86)\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Service\html\use_policy
iii. One the left hand side of the PC reservation Client, the news feed box would displayed. The files that display the news feed are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Service\news_feed and should be backed up if customized.
iv. The server _Views folder contains wpad files, and if customized should be backed up. They are located at C:\Program Files (x86)\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Service\server_views
v. Instructions on the right hand side of the Client screen are located in the translation folder C:\Program Files (x86)\EnvisionWare\PC Reservation\Management Service\translations and if the files are customized. They should be backed up.
There are usually two types of log within the EnvisionWare software. The devlog and userlog. These logs contains information regarding troubleshooting. If verbose logging is enabled via the configuration the dev logs and user logs will contain pertinent information to troubleshoot any issues.
