Read to a Pet offers a chance for children to try the most relaxing, non-threatening way to practice reading out loud - reading to a dog or cat.

These visiting furry friends have been trained and certified by Paws for Love as therapy animals and are mellow and friendly. They visit the library on the second and last Saturday of each month.

This is a drop-in program open to interested young readers.
