Children in Grades Kindergarten and up are invited to sign up ahead of time in the Children's Room for a 15 minute slot to hang out with Obadiah the K-9 Comfort Dog. 

Obadiah will be here 4 Thursdays in November/December (Nov. 2, 16 and December 7 and 21) from 5:30 to 6:30. Obadiah is certified through Lutheran Church Charities.

MamaSteph brings her traditional children's songs for sing-alongs and musical stories.

A ticket is required to attend the MamaSteph program. Free tickets can be picked up in the Children's Room, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Thursday before that week's Friday morning program. Free tickets must be picked up by an adult with a library card, and are limited to 6 per adult. Don't have a library card? Stop by the library with a photo id and get one today! Each person attending the program must have a ticket. This includes infants in strollers/buckets/laps, children, and adults. Please contact the library at 781-545-8727 with any questions.

In this free informational session, presented by Tom Ventresca from Write Right Now, students, parents and caregivers will learn about the SAT and ACT college admission tests.

Topics will include basic overview of the tests and what the differences are, scoring and what it means, timing and when to take them, how to prepare,as well as how colleges use them. There will also be time for questions and answer period.

A ticket is required to attend the MamaSteph program. Free tickets can be picked up in the Children's Room, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Thursday before that week's Friday morning program. Free tickets must be picked up by an adult with a library card, and are limited to 6 per adult. Don't have a library card? Stop by the library with a photo id and get one today! Join us for this lighthearted introductory yoga class with no age boundaries. From preschoolers to seniors we will stretch, practice balance and use breath work at various levels.  Youngest ones will fly like airplanes while others may use  a chair for support.  We all become ageless for a few minutes during meditation.
