What is Aquaponics? It is the combination of aquaculture and hydroponics where fish, microbes and plants all thrive together in a symbiotic relationship, helping each other to grow naturally, organically without the need for outside chemical inputs. Join us for this info session led by members of Pittsburgh Aquaponics. The session will go over what you need to get started, best practices, local resources, and plenty of demonstration materials. Pittsburgh Aquaponics will also have starter home kits for sale. This program is free.
