Classes include dinosaur volcanoes, geysers, gooey projects, rockets and parachutes, airplanes, kaleidoscopes, Play-Doh fun and much, much more. Young Writers Program Workshop

The Young Writers Program is a fun, free online writing program. Teens write scripts and novels, share page-count goals and achievements, and brainstorm ideas with other writers via online message boards. Brittany Ketter, a seasoned ScriptFrenzy and NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) veteran, will guide teens through the Young Writers Program website, http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/. Learn to Knit

1:00-2:00 PM, Learn to Knit. 2:00-4:00 PM, Keep on Knitting. Everyone in the family (ages 10+, teens and adults) can learn to knit in this fun class. An experienced instructor will teach knitting every Saturday this winter. This class will teach basic knitting techniques, casting on and binding off, while knitting a scarf. Knitters with some experience will learn to increase, decrease and read a pattern. Bring knitting needles (size 8, 9 or 10), yarn (worsted, light, bright colors) and friends or family! Class is limited to 10 participants, so click below to register. To help defray the cost of the program, there is a small fee of $1 per class.
