Placement preference is given to Seekonk residents.

Our loveable, Library Labradoodle, Oliver, loves sitting next to children who read to him!  Join us on Tuesdays in July from 1-3 pm and read to him.  There's no registration for this program, but if you'd like a preferred time, please call (508) 336-8230 x5140 and schedule YOUR 20 minute session with Oliver!

FAMILY MOVIE MATINEE -- Join us for fun, family entertainment on our big screen in the Meeting Room on Tuesday afternoons at 4 pm on July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5, 12 & 19.  Our movie license agreement prevents us from disclosing the movie titles here, but call the Children's Room at 508-336-8230 x5140 and we'll give you the list of upcoming scheduled movies!

No registration is required!  FREE SmartFood!  Or bring your own snacks and beverages!

Children in Grades 1 and up can register for this exciting new program with "techno mom" Rachel Joiner Escola using our Innovation Center and The Meadows (weather permitting)!  Rachel has fun things planned with fluid dynamics (water play), materials science (slime, goo), natural science (flora and fauna), and LIttleBits, electronic modules that snap together with tiny magnets for prototying, learning and fun!

(Lottery) Registration is required for this program and starts on Monday, June 16.

BUILDING ROCKETS -- Join Major Don Morrison, along with some cadets from the Civil Air Patrol, as they demonstrate simple rocket construction using household materials and special kits from the Civil Air Patrol.  This program is for children aged 10 and up.  Registration is required for materials needs.

A Rocket Launch in the Meadows will follow on Saturday, September 20, at 12:30 pm.  (No registration is necessary for that event)
