THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Four-day (28 hours) Responsive Classroom Course (RCC) focuses on the skills and practices of building positive community, effective management, and engaging academics. Participants explore key Responsive Classroom teaching practices: Morning Meeting, Academic Choice, rule creation, Interactive Modeling, positive teacher language, and responding to misbehavior (including logical consequences).

Day 1 Full day training
In this workshop, you will be introduced to set-up procedures, hardware components, and how to use and operate the interactive whiteboard. Features of the Notebook software will be introduced with emphasis on the tools to build interactive lessons. By the end of the workshop, you'll be comfortable with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard and ready to start using it in your classroom.

Day 2 Follow-up training
Level II continues the skills from Level I training. You will discover the best practices and tools to help you structure and organize your lessons. Learn and practice how to add style to your activities.

Have you been using your SMART Board with the Notebook software but want to take it to the next level? Do you find lessons on the SMART Exchange but would like to edit them? Are you ready to build your own lessons from scratch? Would you like to better organize your lessons? If YES, then this is the workshop for you. We will go over the advanced Notebook software tools to help you structure and organize your lessons.
In this session, you will
·redesign a lesson already built.
·become familiar with the advanced tools to help you design engaging lessons.
·learn how to structure content more effectively.
