It's a craze going on around the world where the knitters of the world wrap famous landmarks and works of art in their knitted items. We won't knit, but we will use lots of yarn to wrap up a few of the immovable items outside of the library. This should be lots of fun! Get ready to wrap the bike rack, a bench, and maybe a couple of other items to make our special art visible for everyone to see.

    Angela Golden of Child Advocacy Services will be presenting this program, which teaches adults how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. This program offers training on the 7 Steps for Protecting Children from child sexual abuse in the United States. This revolutionary training, which includes continuing education credits, has demonstrated results of protecting ten children for every one adult trained. A certificate of completion is awarded for 3 hours of continuing education from the National Association of Social Workers and the National Board for Certified Counselors. All adults are welcomed to this event.
