Thursday April 23rd School Vacation Week.  This Program is SOLD OUT.    Tickets went very fast.  The Library hopes to repeat the program in the future.

Tickets ($3.00 cash or check)  for children and adults are available in person starting Monday, March 30th  at 1:00p.m. . This program is for all ages. Space is limited.

Elsa will be here to dance, tell a story with interactive play, sing songs, and play games. There will also be photo opportunities with Elsa ( Anna and Olaf).

This is a Junior Friends of the Stoneham Public Library funded program.  All proceeds support Junior Library programs.  Please make checks out to the  Junior Friends of the Stoneham Library.    Program tickets (non refundable) must be presented day of event.

Snap Circuit Participants will have the opportunity to experiment with light,  sounds and movement while using specially purchased snap circuit boards that require no wires or dangerous tools.
This is a special "HANDS ON" science workshop for students in Grades 2 to 5     Ages 7+


Registration is required.  Space is limited. Call or stop into the Junior Library to register or ask for more information. Supplies funded with Federal LSTA grant.

Diane Kordas, Romper Rhythm and Puppets,  will be at the Stoneham Library with her puppet friends!  Show will feature the Dinosaur Days DINO MAN!  Fun for tots with audience participation to help the puppets on their way!  See for more information.

Diane Kordas has been performing music for children and families since 1992, and puppet shows since 1998. Diane makes  her own puppet characters and scripts for her shows. Her classic and original stories with puppets, music, humor and audience participation .

How do MAGIC tricks really work? This exciting program investigates the science behind the "MAGIC" of several classic magic tricks.  You might learn how to snatch a tablecloth without disturbing the items on top, make a balloon fireproof, and use electromagnetism to defy gravity.  For the finale, the Museum of Science educator demonstrates how science can make it safe to lie down on a real bed of nails.

This is guaranteed to  be a very FUN HULA HOOPING PROGRAM  

A short talk about the HULA HOOP!, a teaching demonstration on how to hula hoop, and then a  performance to show different things that can be done laughwith the hoop.   

Than the program will open  up to everyone to play with the different types and sizes of hoops, with instructor either  teaching basic hooping or giving challenges and tricks to more experienced hoopers.   wink Finally everyone will be brought together for a couple group games that teach teamwork and creativity with the hoop.
