We will discuss the novel Cascade by author Maryanne O'Hara.  The Quabbin Reservoir was created in the 1930s and "four central Massachusetts towns disappeared beneath its waters." O'Hara bases her story on that event.  The Boston Globe's review states that, "Cascade unfolds like a Shakespearean tragedy, with an ending you won't see coming."

The book group looks forward to welcoming new members.  This event is free and open to the public.

"All the Light We Cannot See" by  Anthony Doerr is our novel this month.  Join our discussion of a story that has been called, "a tender exploration of this world's paradoxes: the beauty of the laws of nature and the terrible ends to which war subverts them, the fraility and resilience of the human heart, the immutability of a moment and the healing power of time."

We always look forward to welcoming new members.  This event is free and open to the public.
