misc_none Living Squares - Donor Family Quilt Display Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend

The Donor Family Quilt will be on display for the month of April.  It is a panel of Loving Squares, sponsored by LifeChoice Donor Services.  Each square on the quilt was hand-stitched by local families to commemorate the lives of their loved ones who gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.

The second quilt being displayed is to memorialize a man who was a donor.  His sister made it in his honor with his tee shirts and other shirts.

An inspiring lecture by Jane Andrews, a kidney and pancreas recipient will be held Tuesday evening April 11th  6:30-7:30pm to coincide with Organ Donation Month.
