Aussie Fun Jam (Didgeridoo Workshop) is a one-of-a-kind musical and cultural experience. The didgeridoo is an Australian Aboriginal instrument with a funky, fresh sound that’s as exotic as its name. In this upbeat workshop, participants learn to play the "didge". Participants learn how to play the didgeridoo, icluding vocalizing, creating simple rythms and more, with beginner instruments. It's cool, funky and unique.

The Magic of Music: Melba’s Triumph

Historic New England invites students to explore the life of Melba Liston. Using the book, Little Melba and her Big Trombone, students will meet Melba, an extraordinary jazz trombonist who faced numerous challenges in her life to create toe-tapping tunes. Students will look at instruments from the past, listen to Melba’s music, and create a musical instrument to take home with them.  For ages 5-10.  Sign-up required.
