lib_teddybear_reading 6:30 PM  -  7:30 PM Main Library - Teddy Bear Sleepover Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend

How do Teddy Bears say goodnight?
Do they pull up the blankets and close their eyes tight?
Or sneak out and play when we’re all out of sight
?

If you’ve ever wondered what your favorite plush friend gets up to when he/she thinks no one is looking, our Teddy Bear Sleepover is the time to find out. Drop off your Teddy Bear or another stuffed toy anytime between 6:30-7:30 p.m. You can read your friend a bedtime story, and tuck him/her in before saying goodnight, and then the fun begins…maybe!

When you come back tomorrow night to pick up your furry friend we’ll have a snack and slide show from the secret cameras that have been watching to find out what Teddy Bears really do at night.

Perhaps they go on computers and learn to use Skype.
Or tune into boxing and learn how to fight.
Whatever they do, it will all turn out right.

This program is for children ages 3-6 and is limited to 25 children plus one furry friend each. Please register here. This registration includes both the drop-off and pick-up party tomorrow night. Juice and donuts will be served at the  party and all sorts of library "swag" given out. If your child is allergic please bring your own snack.

Snow dates for this program are February 10 (drop off) and 11 (pick up). Please DO NOT BRING the animal your child needs to get to sleep at night.
