Google Educator Series: Sites & Forms (session 4 of 4, or stand-alone workshop)

Session four of four sessions to get a certificate of completion. This series is focused on the classroom teacher or school administrator, but will be just as valuable to anyone who wants to improve their productivity, communication, organization and research. Each session will have a primary focus and there will be lots of hands-on time to work with the Google services. We’ll look at addi
tional Google services each session as time permits.
Session 4. This session will focus on: Google Sites, Forms, additional services, and a wrap up of the series. Create a web page with Google Sites, make and gather information with a Google Form as a survey or evaluation.
This is the last of four in a series, or you can take it as a stand-alone workshop.
The cost for this workshop is $20.This workshop is offered at a special, subsidized price to help area educators address the technology requirements in the Common Core. .No additional partner discounts are available..
Location: Rhodes Hall, Rm 163 S. Instructor: Mike Nieckoski. Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM.

Google Session 3: Make up class

Session three of four sessions to get a certificate of completion. iPad as a Dynamic Teaching Tool
|
|

|
The iPad is a game-changing technology for the classroom that makes instruction and learning something that can literally be held in the hand. This workshop will show some ways that this remarkable device can be used by teachers to present material in their classrooms: by sharing the iPad screen; by using the cameras and connectivity in the classroom, and as an interactive feedback tool. Topics will include: hardware needed; app suggestions for presentations, interactive lessons, and for classroom feedback (some free, some not as free).
Please bring with you to the session: 1) your iPad or iPad Mini 2)your Apple ID and password and, 3) one or two ideas or lesson plans that you’d like to teach using the iPad as your primary delivery device. Please ensure that you have the capability of downloading and installing apps on your device.
Cost: $15.00. This workshop is offered at a special, subsidized price to help area educators address the technology requirements in the Common Core. No additional partner discounts are available.

Basic iPad training and distribution of iPads.
All participants registered for the optional iPad training, including the iPad, are required to attend a training in order to receive your iPad. This training will be held at Keene State College, Rhodes Hall, Room 163S. If you cannot attend any of the various dates, please contact Bev Straneva (see below).
At this three hour training, you will receive your iPad, and have hands on instruction on the basic use of this tool. We will also review the processes for using the NH Network Platform. If you are not familiar with this, please go to the NH DOE home page and click on the NH Network Platform icon for instructions on using the network.
