Thayer Public Library is proud to present Jim Lynch a Braintree Native.

Mr. Lynch  will discuss his book "The Longshoremen:  Life on the Waterfront"

"The Longshoremen details the working conditions and challenges of working on the Boston waterfront and is based on the real-life experiences of longshoreman, author JIm Lynch"

James Lynch lives in Braintree, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Boston College . THis is his second novel about the Boston waterfront.

Come meet the Purple Cow and learn fun songs about the letters of the alphabet, their sounds and other early reading skills. Nicole DeBassio makes reading and pre-reading skills fun. Children will enjoy the session, and parents will learn tips and songs to use at home with their 4 - 7 year olds. Bring your camera to have your picture taken with Nicole's Purple Cow.
