Please bring your personal device, account information (iTunes, Google Play, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon username and password), and your library card and pin number.

This class will cover the basic concepts of creating, saving, and printing files. We will cover editing tips such as copy and paste. The Computer Lab features a Windows 7 Operating System on a laptop system. 

Prerequisites: Participation in Getting Started with Computers and a basic knowledge of a typewriter keyboard are strongly encouraged.
Time: 1.5 hours.  Seating limited to twelve participants. Registration Required.

This class introduces Microsoft Word 2007. We will learn how to use the Menu and Tool bars, Spell Check, the Help menu, create and save documents, open existing documents, and basic formatting techniques.  The Computer Lab features a Windows 7 Operating System on a laptop system. 

Prerequisites: Getting Started with Computers or equivalent computer skills, strong keyboard and mouse skills.
