This class will introduce you to fundamental procedures for searching the Internet -- how to locate a browser, start and run a search engine, evaluate information searches, and how to keep the useful information at hand.  We will explore the library's website and the many services it offers, too.  The Computer Lab features a Windows 7 Operating System on a laptop system. 

Prerequisites: Getting Started with Computers or equivalent computer skills, strong keyboard and mouse skills.
Time: 1.5 hours.  Seating limited to twelve participants. Registration Required.

Eight library laptops are available on a first come, first served basis. Patrons are welcome to bring their own laptops.

Join us for this two hour class where we will discuss basic functions such as turning your iPad on and off, working with apps doing tasks such as opening, closing, installing and uninstalling, and even talking to Siri.
