Celebrate Chinese New Year!
It’s the Year of the Tiger and we will be
reading stories about China, some folktales, too,
and celebrating the new year. Wear something
red to bring good luck. We’ll be cooking and sampling
Chinese Fried Rice.

Nimblefingers is the place for those interested in sharing their excitement for the needle arts! These friendly ladies (men are welcome, but we haven't seen any yet!) knit and crochet, embroider and quilt, and explore more unusual areas of needlework. You can learn a new skill here or or share your own special talents with others.
Extra events are scheduled such as workshops and lectures, an annual display of their work, and occasionally a party! Bring your project and join them any Tuesday afternoon to socialize and to share your interests over tea and crumpets. Newcomers are always welcome.

The Art of Photography:
Composing the Perfect Picture
We welcome back Kathy Montgomery, owner and operator of LTF Tech, for a program on the art of photography. Last year Kathy presented several programs on the mechanics of digital photography. This year she will discuss composition - subjects like the “rule of thirds”, symmetry, lines, framing, candid portraits, and the right moment to snap a picture.
Please note this is not a “hands-on” workshop;
no registration is required.
