In these free workshops led by Friends member Ida Kotyuk, participants will each select one or two preexisting poems that they have authored. Bring ten copies of each poem to share with others. Each poet will read the poem aloud and we will then discuss the poem. Everyone is expected to participate. These sessions are for poets of all levels who are looking for peer review and suggestions.

Presented by the Friends of the Villa Park Library.

Plan on joining us for a viewing of the Chicagoland night sky on Saturday, July 29 at the Villa Park Public Library from 8:30-9:30/10pm (program end time is tentative).

Members of the Naperville Astronomical Association will be on hand to help identify constellations in the sky just outside of the library! This program is sponsored by the Environmental Concerns Commission.

Please visit the Naperville Astronomical Association's website the day of the event to see if the program will be presented as scheduled. Their website is: http://www.stargazing.net/naa/ there will be a bar across the top of the page indicating whether or not the program will be presented and will be up on the page around 1 or 2pm. This is due to weather conditions, we will not be able to see anything if it's a cloudy evening.
