Valley Stream Book Club will meet.  Title to be discussed is The Promise of Stardust, by Priscille Sibley.

Matt was two years old the first time he held Elle in his arms, seventeen when he first kissed her, and thirty-three when they wed. Now the deeply devoted couple has everything—except the baby they've always wanted.

This program features famous songs of America written by people who were all motivated to capture a moment in history or the spirit of the people of America.  Lyle Cogen is an award-winning singer-songwriter, recording artist, and theatre performer. She has performed her songs and theatre productions throughout the U.S. for children, parents and teachers at theaters and schools, bringing her energy, high spirits and uplifting message to young audiences everywhere.

This is the final program in “Celebrating America's Cultural Heritage,” a multi-disciplinary series of programs to celebrate America’s cultural heritage. “Celebrating America's Cultural Heritage" is being made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Program administered by The Huntington Arts Council, Inc. and generous donations from several library patrons.
