Weaving With Nature

Use a portable Earth Loom as a focal point when you investigate weaving with natural materials as an art form and connect with how animals and insects weave structures essential to their survival. Join Wise Owl Workshops when they teach how birds weave their nests, spiders their webs and caterpillars their pupae. Registration required. Ages 6-12.

Yoga is sponsored by the Blairstown Department of Recreation . There is a fee for this class and sign up is necessary through the Blairstown Recreation Department (362-6663, opt. 3)
This class explores the principles of alignment in the classical yoga postures and flowing movements called Vinyasas. Students will explore the link between breath and movement, along with building strength and flexibility. Prior yoga experience is helpful, but not required.
For Yoga classes a mat/towel, comfortable clothing and water bottle is recommeded.

For the seasoned knitter of the beginner, join us for the socialization and satisfaction of producing one of our many volunteer projects. This group knits chemo hats, baby booties, hats, sweaters, car seat covers, blankets, and adult lap robes. All items are donated to local hospitals.
