Post Oil Solutions hosts a monthly Community Meeting on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except December) at the Brooks Memorial Library Community Room.

 

The gathering begins at 6:00 PM with a social time and free refreshments; the meeting starts at 6:30 PM.

The focus of the meeting is to build new, and support existing, projects that are in keeping with Post Oil’s mission  "to empower the people of the Central Connecticut River Valley bioregion to develop sustainable, collaborative, and socially just communities leading to a self-sufficient post petroleum society."

 

In part, it’s a meeting to discuss and update current Post Oil projects (Winter Farmers Market, Greater Falls Community Garden Collaborative, GMO Labeling Campaign, etc.), as well as to consider new projects that Post Oil members wish to initiate.

 

But it’s also, a meeting with the larger community that allows participants (a) to become involved with Post Oil projects, and (b) to present ideas and suggestions of projects they would like to develop, and would like assistance from the community and Post Oil in so doing.
