The Wallingford Chess Club, directed by Wayne Aguiar is offered as a free community service to the children of Wallingford. The purpose of the club is to promote chess by providing kids, grades K - 12, with the opportunity to learn and enjoy this classic game.

The Wallingford STAR2 club is a perfect way to feed your passion for science. This free club is open to all Wallingford students in grades K-12. In the next meeting you can design and construct a parachute, learn about the planets, construct a planetary mobile, and learn about robotics programming. Please register to ensure that there are enough materials for everyone. You may sign up online, by phone, or in person.

One Day in the Life of Connecticut Libraries!
Pick up a survey from the Information Desk and tell us what you love about your library and why it's important. We'll take your answers and let you know what other people all around the state think of their libraries and how they use them. We'll have our "roaming photographer" taking snapshots throughout the library all day. Be a part of it!

Bored over February vacation? Come to the Library for pizzas and Wii. All Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome stop by the Community Room on Thursday, February 18th between 1 & 4pm.
What games we play is up to you. Beginning February 1st you can vote on the blog for the toppings you think we should get for the pizza. You can easily get to the Teen Blog from our Library Web Site. Look for the link in the orange bar at the top of the page.
See you at the pizza party! Be sure to bring a friend.
This is a drop-in program, no need to register.
