Local resident Russ Salk will read from his recently published book of haikus, Full Moon Shining Bright.  Haiku is a Japanese poetic form consisting of seventeen syllables in three lines (five, seven, and five, respectively).  Poetry lovers may to listen and enjoy Mr. Salk's poetry in a relaxed setting.  Poets are also invited to share their own work with the audience. Copies of Full Moon Shining Bright: Haikus by Russ Salk will be available for sale and signing after the program.  Please call the library at 860-627-1495 to register and let us know if you plan to read your own poetry.
