Magda, one of our wonderful and dedicated volunteers, has graciously agreed to continue to lead this group every Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 in the Quiet Study. The first official meeting of this group will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 and will continue through the end of December. The class will not meet when the library is closed on November 11, 2010 for Veteran's Day and November 25, 2010 for Thanksgiving. This group is for those who already speak some English but want to develop their conversation skills in a social setting. ESL instruction will not be given. This is a walk-in group; you do not need to attend every session; however, each student who attends should come to each class prepared with a topic they wish to discuss with the group.
