lib_book_red 7:30 PM  -  8:30 PM SHADES REPERTORY THEATER PRESENTS STAGED READINGS OF THE UNDERGROUND Remind Me about this Event   Tell a Friend
   

 

Shades Repertory Theater will present staged readings on The Underground from the playwright, Samuel Harps.  These readings will give accounts on truth-based occurrences regarding some of the stories on The Underground as it happened here in the Hudson Valley.  We will hear historical acocunts involving Native American scouts, runaway slaves, safe houses and bounty hunters.  Even if you are not a history buff, you will recognize the names of some of the villages in which these events occurred such as Ossining, Sleepy Hollow and Piermont, NY.

This event will take place at the Senior Center.  Registration is required.
