As the Lieutenant Governor from Division 18 of the New England and Bermuda District of Key Clubs, this room is being requested to hold a Divisional meeting/service project. (Division 18 includes the Key Club of Middleboro High School, who I am expecting significant member participation from, as they are an active and enthusiastic club.) The meeting will consist of making blankets and hospital dolls to benefit the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute, located in Tufts' Floating Hospital for Children in Boston, MA. If anyone from the community wishes, they may attend and assist in the project! This meeting is also a forum for Middleboro Key Club members to share Key Club-related ideas and experiences with other Key Clubs in their division, including Pembroke, East Bridgewater, Brockton, Whitman-Hanson, and Silver Lake.

The Genesis Amateur Radio Club is sponsoring free Amateur Radio “General License Upgrade” training. The “General Class” is the second of three US Amateur Radio licenses. To upgrade to General Class, you must already hold a Technician Class license (or have recently passed the Technician license exam). Upgrading to a General license--which conveys extensive HF privileges. Pre-study before class and spend two day to pass your amateur radio Element 3 General Class examination, right in the classroom on Day 2. We would like to request use of one of your rooms for this class, class size approximately 15-25. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
