After a brief hiatus, Teen Book Chat is back, and we're ready to discuss new teen books! High school students are encouraged to join us for our monthly book chat meetings, which are held one Saturday a month. For Teen Book Chat, register at the Information Desk and select a title you'd like to read from the books available (selection varies month to month). Read your selected title (each person reads a different title each month), and prepare a short book talk for the group. Attend the monthly meeting, and talk about new teen books! Each person will present their book, and the group can ask questions while learning about great new titles from their peers. Instructions for the book talk are given when you pick up a title. After the meeting, the book is yours to keep!

Saturday December 30, 2017
   12:30 PM  -  2:30 PM Stitch 'n Inch

Adults and teens 14+ are welcome to attend Stitch 'n Inch to learn or practice knitting with Colette Pispisa or crocheting with Betty Joseph in a fun and friendly atmosphere. You are also welcome just to socialize. Their Newark Knitting group page is on Ravelry.com.

Stitch 'n Inch meets every other Saturday. You may bring your own needles or hooks to learn, or borrow straight knitting needles and yarn. Colette is proficient at using double-pointed needles, but if you want to learn how to make hats, socks or both, you'll need to buy yourself a set.
