  • A self-guided session at the Expressive Arts tables. Themes, prompts, and all materials included for Zen collaging, Mandala making, and journaling.

Red Cross Babysitting Class   (Information from redcross.org)

To provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Please bring a lunch and snacks. CPR certification is not included in this course.

Come create a unique and lovely crisscross pattern necklace with real piece of frosted Lake Erie beach glass. The frosted glass measures almost two inches in length from the top of the silver bail. Students will be using a non-tarnish artistic wire to whimsically wrap their piece. 18" sterling silver necklace is also included. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Please bring a lunch and snacks. CPR certification is not included in this course.

The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old. Please bring a lunch and snacks. CPR certification is not included in this course.

A Matter of Balance is an eight week nationally recognized program designed to reduce the risk of falling. The emphasis on this display is to let peple see and learn about the different elements of the hobby, running the trains, what railroads the group likes to model, how they do scenery, the modern electronics of model railroading, how to make a model train run well, etc. This free event will be held in the Waugaman Gallery.

A Matter of Balance is an eight week nationally recognized program designed to reduce the risk of falling. Participants will learn how to view fear of falling as controllable, how to set realistic goals to increase activity, and change an environment to reduce risk. The program is sponsored and conducted by Fairhill Partners, a non-profit agency devoted to successful aging. Participants must expect to attend all sessions.
