Tune into the world of music by joining our Summer Reading Club.

You will receive a reading log, game sheets, bookmarks and other surprises along the way. Younger children can also participate by having someone read to them.

You may sign up on or after June 19 at the Main Library, East Branch or the West Branch Library. 

When you sign up for the Reading Club you may also particpate in our READ & RIDE Contest! You may earn 1 raffle ticket (by reading 5 books) to be entered into a bike and helmet raffle.

The Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias of Massachusetts will be sponsoring Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3, the Brockton Public Library and St. George Lodge of Brockton will be sponsoring Grade 4, Grade 5 and Grade 6.

Dr. Rosilda James, a clinical psychologist, has recently released her first book The Garden of Secrets: Hope and Healing in March 2018.  The book focuses on sexual abuse and incest within her native country of Cape Verde, in particular her native island of Fogo.  Dr. James has dedicated over 25 years to the practice of providing an avenue for healing to survivors of trauma.  She believes that every challenging and painful situation in life presents an opportunity for growth.  Books will be availabe to purchase.  Light refreshments will be served.
